About Bolder
Bolder S.A was incorporated in Nacala, Mozambique in 2014. Our team includes some of the country’s finest quarrying and construction specialists with expertise and long experience in quarrying, construction, earth works, road projects and the manufacture of concrete products.
Bolder S.A owns its own quarries and cement production facilities as well as its own fleet of plant and heavy machinery. This ensures its independence and reliability.
Bolder S.A provides tailor-made contracting solutions that cover everything from terrain and earth moving works to complex construction projects such as private and public road construction.
Bolder S.A offers one off works that fit into customers’ ongoing wider construction projects as well as entire ‘turnkey’ assignments where Bolder S.A builds and completes entire projects from design to delivery.
Bolder S.A is well funded and constantly invests in its machinery, expertise and staff to ensure the highest levels of quality control for its customers.
Contracting
Earth Moving
Bolder S.A offers a wide range of earthmoving & site preparation services to customers. Because our parent Company Edgebold JLT also owns and manages the trucking and transport Company First Base Cargo S.A we are able to not only undertake earthwork projects but also remove or bring to site bulk materials for our customers using our fleet of tipper, low bed and flatbed trucks and trailers. We are also developing Soil Stabilisation services which we will soon add to our range of earthwork preparation works.
Road Work Commissions
Bolder S.A offers a wide range of road works services from minor repairs and resurfacing to the sophisticated structuring and construction of entirely new segments of public and private highways. Our team of experienced engineers is well equipped to handle all aspects of Road Work Commissions including supplying and laying of composite, concrete, asphalt and pavers that are tailor made for each project. We stand behind the quality of our projects and our materials with confidence because Bolder S.A quarries its own high quality rock, produces its own asphalt and designs and builds its own concrete products.
Products
We produce and sell a range of essential construction products to a wide range of companies in Mozambique.
Rock & Aggrogate
Bolder S.A controls and operates quarries in Nacala and Pemba from where we offer rock and aggregate for amongst other things civil construction, the production of asphalt, concrete and concrete products. Bolder S.A also offers rock suitable for ballast, sea defences and other civil engineering projects. Because of its association with First Base Cargo S.A. our Company is able to transport rock & aggregate to where our customers need it in a timely and secure way.
Manufactured Concrete Products
Bolder S.A controls and operates a significant concrete products factory in Nacala from where it manufactures a wide range of finished concrete products including blocks, precast pave, concrete kerb and precast concrete pipes. Again because of its association with First Base Cargo S.A. our Company is able to transport finished concrete products to where our customers need it in a timely and secure way.
Ready Mix Concrete and Asphalt
We are currently implementing and developing new capabilities to produce and sell Ready-mixed concrete, bituminous mixtures and cold emulsions.
Equipment
Bolder S.A owns, operates and maintains a young fleet of heavy-duty equipment, machines and tools together which are maintained by our experienced team of engineers and technicians.
Because of its association with First Base Cargo S.A. our Company is able to transport finished concrete products to where our customers need it in a timely and secure way.
